Photos of real weddings and events in Rio de Janeiro
22 photographs of celebrations held here, at a 50,000 m² garden estate inside the city of Rio de Janeiro — ceremonies, receptions, the pool terrace and the getting-ready suites.
The only open-air part of the estate
Ceremonies in the garden
The green wall behind every one of these ceremonies is not scenery and not a painted backdrop: it is preserved Atlantic Forest, and the estate borders it. The lawn takes more than one layout — a central aisle, a circle around the couple, or a clear-roofed structure built over the whole thing. If it rains, the same ceremony moves under cover.
After the ceremony
Receptions in the covered hall
The covered hall is a room, not a marquee raised for the occasion: high ceilings, stone floor, permanent lighting. That matters more here than it would in Europe — it is both the reception space and the rain plan, and it is why a December date is not a gamble.
The estate without an event on it
The pool terrace and the gardens
Worth seeing the place undecorated, because that is how it reaches you before any design work: the infinity-edge pool, the stone staircase climbing through the palms, the entrance gate, and the lift that links the levels of the ground. The hillside in the background is the edge of the city, not another town.
Before anyone arrives
Getting ready
The bridal suite opens early in the morning and the groom apartment is released before the invitation time. These are preparation rooms for the day of the event — nobody stays overnight here, and that is worth knowing before you book hotels.
The next best thing
Can't come in person?
Most couples planning from abroad choose the venue before they ever land. We run a live video call through the estate for exactly that: someone walks the route your guests will walk, in real time, and answers while walking. It is not a recorded film, and you can ask it to turn around.
Photographs do one thing badly, and it is the thing that decides most bookings: they flatten distance. The walk from the ceremony lawn to the covered hall, the height of the hall, how far the forest actually is — none of that survives a thumbnail.
About these photographs
22 photographs, not three hundred, on purpose: most people reach this page on a phone, and a gallery that loads hundreds of images at once is a gallery nobody scrolls to the end of. Every photograph was taken at a real event on this estate.
The captions describe what each photograph shows, not the month it was taken: the files reached us without a date, and we would rather leave it out than guess. For what each season is like here, read the month-by-month guide.
International guests are not new here. In October 2025 a wedding on this estate printed its menu in Portuguese and Italian, for the Italian side of the family.
