What you are choosing
A private estate, not a hotel function room
Almost every corporate venue you will find in Rio is a hotel ballroom or a convention centre in the centre, the south zone or Barra. They are convenient, and they are shared: your group is one of several in the building that day.
This is the other option. 50,000 m² of gardens and Atlantic Forest inside the city limits, with a covered hall, an open-air garden and a pool terrace on the same ground. Groups come here when they want the day to feel like it happened somewhere — an incentive trip, a leadership offsite, a launch that needs its own setting.
The trade you are making is honest: privacy and space in exchange for a drive. Guests arrive by car, van or transfer, not on foot from a hotel lobby. That drive is the first thing to plan and the first thing we will talk about.

Group size runs from 80 to 300 with everyone seated at tables, and up to 400 in a lounge format where not everyone has a seat. The exact number for your format — seated dinner, standing reception or sessions with the group seated — is confirmed for your date before the proposal.
Indoor, outdoor, and what the season changes
Rio has a dry season and a wet one, and it runs opposite to the northern hemisphere: the pleasant, dry months are broadly May, June, September and October, while December to March is hot, humid and prone to heavy afternoon rain. If your programme is movable, that is the single decision that changes the day most.
It is not, however, a condition of coming. Most of the estate is covered, and the covered hall is a permanent room with high ceilings — a rain plan that does not look like a rain plan. The covered spaces are air-conditioned, and the forest around the estate keeps the temperature well below what the same hour feels like on city asphalt.
A backup generator is included in the rental, so an afternoon storm on the grid does not end the event. That is the item corporate buyers ask about most, and the one we can answer without qualification.
The technical answer
Infrastructure, and what we will not invent
The venue rental includes a backup generator, furniture, reception staff, cleaning, a security team, private parking with valet, the house DJ. High-speed Wi-Fi covers the estate. The house DJ answers for the sound and the lighting rider, which is why he stays in the proposal even when a company brings its own act.
The estate is gated, with a security team on site for the whole event and the guest list controlled at the entrance. Access is paved to the gate. There is step-free access, an adapted bathroom, handrails and a lift between the levels of the ground — worth flagging early if anyone in the group needs them.
On audio-visual we will not publish a spec sheet we cannot stand behind. Projection, LED walls, microphones, recording and streaming are contracted per project: send the list with the brief and the proposal prices them. Fireworks are indoor pyrotechnics only — the estate borders preserved Atlantic Forest — and the estate is non-smoking.
If having the estate to yourselves matters to the event, say so in the brief: exclusive use for your date is confirmed in writing, with the proposal, before anything is signed.
Catering and dietary requirements
There is no kitchen of our own: we work with a partner caterer, and there is no exclusivity on the category — a company that has its own caterer, or a DMC that travels with one, brings them, and what you bring is deducted from the proposal. The same applies to décor and floral design, event management and production, cake and desserts, bands and entertainment, photography and film.
Beer is included in the full proposal; the open bar is always a separate service, which is precisely why you are free to bring your own. Dietary requirements — vegetarian, vegan, halal, kosher, allergies — are settled with the caterer at briefing stage, not on the day; an international group makes that conversation earlier and longer, so send the numbers with the brief.
Certified kosher or halal catering needs a specialist caterer. With no exclusivity on the category, you bring yours, and it is deducted from the proposal like any other supplier you bring.
What procurement will ask
Contracting, invoicing and paying from abroad
The contract is signed with ALÉM DOS SONHOS EVENTOS LTDA, CNPJ 38.597.352/0001-49 — a Brazilian company, and those are the registration details your finance team will need to open a supplier record.
A deposit of 20% of the total holds the date at signature, and the balance is paid in equal instalments up to 30 days before the event. Before the contract there is a 10-day hold on the date: credited against the contract if you proceed, returned if you do not. That window is usually what internal approval needs.
The payment methods we work with today are domestic Brazilian ones. How a company based outside Brazil settles an invoice — the route, the currency and the paperwork — is arranged directly with our team before anything is signed, and never guessed at from a web page.
Invoicing, payment terms, purchase orders and supplier registration are agreed with our finance team alongside the proposal. Put your procurement requirements in the brief — including whether you contract through a DMC or agency — and they are answered in writing before signature.
Working in English, and with your DMC
Enquiries and proposals are handled in English on WhatsApp, which is the channel we answer in English. On the event day the coordinator on site speaks English, while the wider crew works in Portuguese — brief through the coordinator. If you are working through a DMC, a PCO or a production agency, brief us through them: we are used to being one supplier inside a larger programme, and to talking directly to whoever is building the run sheet.

Questions from event managers
Is there a minimum group size?
There is: the estate hosts events from 80 guests upwards, and that floor is the same for a company as it is for a wedding. Above it, group size is one of the factors that shape the proposal, along with the date, the day of the week and the scope of services.
How long is a corporate event, and who chooses the hours?
An event runs for 6 hours, and the company chooses the start time. Extra hours are contracted in advance, as part of the proposal, rather than decided on the night. Set-up on a venue-only rental begins in the morning of the event day.
Can we bring our own caterer and suppliers?
You can. There is no exclusivity on any category here — catering, décor and floral design, event management and production, cake and desserts, bands and entertainment, photography and film can all come from outside, and whatever you bring is deducted from the proposal. The one fixture is the house DJ, who stays because he also answers for the lighting and the technical rider of the event.
What is already included in the venue rental?

What happens if it rains?
Most of the estate is covered, and every event has a covered space held for it. The covered hall is a permanent room with high ceilings, not a marquee raised for the day, so a wet-season date does not need a separate rain budget.

Can we see the venue without flying to Rio?
Yes. We run a live video call through the estate for exactly that — someone walks the route your group would walk and answers while walking, so you can ask them to turn around. An in-person site inspection is by appointment, and worth doing before a large event is signed.
How do we get a proposal?
Send the brief — target date, group size, format and technical requirements — over WhatsApp or the enquiry form, in English. Our office hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm (BRT, UTC−3). For larger events it is worth booking a site inspection, in person or by video, before the proposal is signed off.
